At BYJU'S I made educational game art, working in Photoshop and Illustrator to create lifelike props, characters and backgrounds across very different art styles, depending on what each game needed. Every asset began with research: real textures, real shadows, real details, so that even a beaker of water or a bundle of parsley felt true to life for the kids studying with it. I worked closely with the Senior Artist Lead to keep quality high across the whole asset library.
Educational game assets for ages 4 to 6, painted in a realistic illustrative style: wildlife, plants and everyday objects that had to be instantly recognisable to very young learners.
Same client, completely different brief: flat vector assets for ages 6 to 10. Switching art direction like this, realism one sprint and clean vector the next, was the heart of the job.
