About me
Hello! I'm Kaynat.
I'm a multi-lingual illustrator-designer based in Germany and India. My diverse practice combines self-taught skills with digital expertise. Blending Procreate, gouache and oil pastels, I carefully craft detailed illustrations incorporating relatable, culturally rooted characters to play out heart-warming stories that evocatively connect audiences of all ages through subtle emotional messages.
With a formal education in Journalism and a Master's in Illustration from Arts University Bournemouth, my work is always rich in context yet fantastical in approach, drawing inspiration from everyday life and my childhood influences of Disney movies, R.K. Laxman's Common Man, and Studio Ghibli's world-building.
At MadMantra Games, I shaped the studio's visual identity and designed Kamla, the face of a horror game that has reached over 20 million players, with a trailer surpassing a billion views. I now create concept art for the studio's next horror title while directing my own project, Goldy's Garden, an upcoming Steam idle clicker for which I am building the complete visual world: characters, environments, UI and store art.
My earlier work spans production art for Lila's World at Photon Tadpole Studios and educational art at BYJU'S, reaching audiences of millions, alongside two years as a games tutor at Confetti College, where I helped shape the games art curriculum and taught digital graphics and character design. I am currently seeking studio roles and remain available for freelance projects in games and children's publishing.
